About Photobooth Free
A free browser photo booth for parties and events—with no account, installation, or photo upload.

What the photo booth does
The web app takes four countdown photos, applies the selected style in the browser, and creates a JPEG collage. Square, vertical column, and postcard (A6, about 4×6 in) layouts are available.
Photo privacy
Camera images and collages are processed locally in the browser. The free photo booth does not upload your photos to our server. The MCP endpoint for AI assistants (/mcp) only processes the assistant's request and stores nothing.
Verified feature scope
Guides are checked against the current photo booth workflow. We state limitations clearly and do not publish invented customer stories.
Devices and limitations
You need a modern browser, JavaScript, a camera, and permission to access it. Image quality depends on the camera, lighting, and device. Collages can be printed directly and kept on the device; a cloud gallery that guests upload to from their own phones is not part of the free photo booth.
Who makes this?
Photobooth Free is built and run by Steffen Knödler from Frankfurt, Germany — as are its German version, Fotobox Online, and the event gallery Guest Pictures. He writes the guides himself and tests every feature they describe against the current version.
Contact and transparency
Questions or bug reports: hello@guest-pictures.com. Guest Pictures is the separately linked service for event galleries, QR-code uploads, and cloud storage.
