Guest Pictures photo booth for ChatGPT and Claude

Ask your AI assistant for a photo booth and it answers with a card where you preview the effects and pick an effect, a layout and a caption. One tap opens the booth with these settings. The booth itself runs in your browser – phone, tablet or laptop – takes four photos with a countdown and turns them into a collage you can download, share or print.

How it works

  1. You ask the assistant, e.g. “Set up a photo booth for my birthday party”.
  2. It shows a card with example pictures of every effect. Pick an effect, a layout (2×2 collage, photo strip or postcard) and, if you like, a caption such as your names and the date.
  3. Start photo booth opens the booth in a new tab with these settings already chosen. Allow the camera and tap start.

The booth cannot take photos inside the chat window itself – it always opens in your browser. No account, no app and no sign-in are needed, neither in the assistant nor in the booth.

ChatGPT

Search for Guest Pictures in the ChatGPT apps directory and connect it. Developers can also add the server URL below with developer mode turned on.

Claude

Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste the server URL below. No authentication is needed.

Server URL (MCP, Streamable HTTP)
https://guest-pictures.com/mcp

The same app also answers at https://photobooth-free.com/mcp and, in German by default, at https://fotobox-online.com/mcp.

The three tools

All three are read-only: they only return a link and information. They never change, send or delete anything, and none of them uses your camera.

Open the photo booth open_photo_booth

Shows a card with example pictures of every effect. You pick an effect (the ones that suit your occasion are marked), a layout – 2×2 collage, photo strip or postcard – and an optional caption, then a button opens the photo booth with exactly these settings in a new browser tab.

List the effects list_photo_booth_effects

Lists every effect and frame the booth offers (big head, meme, vintage film, Christmas …) with a one-line description, so the assistant can help you pick one.

Collecting guest photos collect_guest_photos_info

When you want guests to upload photos from their own phones into one gallery, the assistant explains how that works and links to Guest Pictures, our separate event gallery service.

Things to ask

  • “Set up a photo booth for my wedding reception – we have an iPad.”
  • “Which photo booth effects are there?”
  • “Spooky photo booth for our Halloween party on a laptop?”
  • “How can my guests share their party photos via a QR code?”

Privacy

  • Your photos never reach the app or our server. The booth processes them in your browser and they stay on your device.
  • When the assistant calls the app, we only receive what it passes: the language, an effect, a layout and optionally a short occasion such as “wedding” and a caption for the collage. We use it to build the answer and do not store it. The card loads the effect example images from our website.
  • The app has no accounts and no sign-in, and it cannot read your conversation. Your chat is handled by the assistant’s provider.
